NINETY-ONE - Pre-release alpha 0.03
"The Cold War is over. The war has begun."

Thanks for testing! This is an early alpha of a real-time strategy game set in 1991
West Germany: the Atlantic Compact against the Red Directorate. Expect rough edges.

WHAT YOU NEED
  - Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  - A graphics card with OpenGL 3.3 (anything from the last ten years)
  - About 50 MB of disk space

WINDOWS MAY WARN YOU
The installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may say "Windows protected
your PC". Click "More info", then "Run anyway". It installs for your user only (no admin
needed) and can be removed from Settings > Apps.

WHAT TO TRY
  - Skirmish: up to eight players on the bigger maps (Rhine Valley, Hessen Crossroads),
with AI opponents and teams if you like.
  - Watch AI battle: sit back and watch the AIs fight it out.
  - Showcase: every unit and building lined up to look at.
  - Multiplayer (local network): one PC picks Multiplayer > Host a game and sets seats to
"Open"; the others pick Multiplayer and click the game in the list (or type the address
the host's lobby shows). Everyone needs this same version. Windows Firewall asks the
first time: allow it on private networks.

REPORTING PROBLEMS
Please send: what you were doing, what happened, and a screenshot if you can. The
version is shown in the bottom-left corner of the screen and in the window title.
Your settings are kept in %APPDATA%\WorldOnFire\WorldOnFire\settings.ini; deleting that
file resets them. Your last game is saved next to it as last.replay: sending it along
with a report lets us watch exactly what happened.

Sound effects are CC0 recordings from Freesound; see data\sounds\CREDITS.md.
